Bar Victoria

Burgers, Beers & Bespoke Cocktails

About

The corner of the Bar Victoria bar — Burger Victoria and a martini on dark marble

Our Story

Bar Victoria is a burger and cocktail bar on Victoria Street, in the heart of Darlinghurst, Sydney — open Wednesday to Sunday.

From the team behind Ouzo Bar Dining and Tommy's, Bar Victoria is built around a simple idea done properly: smashed burgers and a serious drinks list, in a warm, low-lit room you won't want to leave.

The food leads with the Burger Victoria — double smashed patties with bacon jam, pickles and mustard mayo on a soft potato bun — alongside buffalo wings, shoestring fries and a few well-chosen bites. It's burgers with intent: crisp-edged, properly seasoned, made to order.

Behind the bar, a list of bespoke cocktails runs from the bright and refreshing to the rich and stirred, with cold beers and a wall of whisky for the long sits. Expect drinks like the Yia Yia's, the Spanish Martini and the Cherry Bomb.

The space itself — copper sconces, leather banquettes and that bottle-lined wall — was designed for exactly this: a burger, a cocktail, and an easy night in one of Sydney's best little corners, a short walk from Kings Cross and Potts Point.
