Bar Victoria Pty Ltd ("Bar Victoria", "we") operates the restaurant and bar at Ground Floor, 259 Victoria Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010 and the website barvictoria.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This page explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What We Collect

Reservations & orders. Name, contact details, party size, dietary notes and visit preferences when you book (processed via SevenRooms, our reservations provider) or place an order with us.
Enquiries. Whatever you send us by email (hello@barvictoria.com.au) or social media.
Marketing list. Your name and email if you've opted in to hear from us or our sister venues (managed via Brevo, our email platform). Every email includes unsubscribe.
Website usage. Standard analytics (pages viewed, device, approximate location) via Google Analytics, and advertising cookies via the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel, which help us measure and improve our marketing.

How We Use It

To seat you, run your booking or order, respond to enquiries, send marketing you've opted into, measure how the website and our advertising perform, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell personal information.

Who We Share It With

Only service providers who help us operate: SevenRooms (reservations), Brevo (email), our payments and point-of-sale providers, Netlify (website hosting), Google (analytics) and Meta (advertising measurement). Each holds data under its own privacy terms; some providers store data outside Australia.

Cookies & Advertising

You can control cookies in your browser settings. To manage how Meta uses your data for ads, visit Meta's Ad Preferences; for Google, use the Google Ads Settings page. The website works fine with non-essential cookies blocked.

Access & Contact
